Wash the jacket alone, to prevent the material from catching or pilling. Before pressing start, set the machine to cold wash, delicate, hand wash, or wools, and a small load size.

If your raincoat has a few surface stains, try wiping them off with a damp paper towel. A sponge soaked in water and vinegar works, too. For stubborn spots, or to clean around the seams and zippers, dip a toothbrush in soapy water and gently scrub them away.

Washing your parachute in a bucket or a bath tub works best to clean the dirt off using lukewarm water and mild soap. Sometimes the simplest way, is the best way.

Immerse the hammock in warm water and slowly add a mild detergent, but keep the end loops out of the water. DO NOT USE BLEACH. Using your hands, massage the hammock as well as the end strings until the hammock is clean. After washing, rinse the hammock with clean water.
How often should I wash my parachute sheets?
Cleaning your fitted sheet, top sheet and pillowcases once a week is typically often enough to keep your sleeping environment healthy.
What detergent can I use for down jacket?
We recommend using Nikwax Down Wash for your jacket, but a gentle detergent like Woolite will work in a pinch. For down wash, I recommend using Granger Down Wash, Gear Aid ReviveX Down Wash, or Nikwax Down Wash. I’ve used them all and they work very well. You could use a regular detergent, but I wouldn’t recommend it.
What happens if you put a puffer jacket in the washing machine?
Make sure you wash it with cold water on a gentle cycle in the washing machine as hot water will shrink the jacket. As an extra precaution, you could always place the jacket inside a mesh laundry bag when you wash it to protect it from being ripped by the machine.
